The Structure

Day 0: Immediate Response (Under 60 Seconds)

Trigger: lead form submitted. Action: SMS — "Hi [first_name], thanks for reaching out about [service]. I will give you a call in the next few minutes to discuss. In the meantime, here is how we work: [link]." Simultaneously: email with more detail and a booking link.

Day 0: 2-Hour Follow-Up (If No Reply)

Condition: only if they have not replied. SMS — "Hi [first_name] — just checking you received my message earlier. Happy to answer any questions or arrange a quick call when is convenient for you."

Day 1: Value Email

Email with a relevant piece of content — a case study, a tip related to their enquiry, a FAQ document. Not sales-focused. Builds trust and keeps you visible.

Day 3: Different Channel

If previous messages were SMS, send an email. If emails, try SMS. Different timing, different message angle. "I wanted to check in — is there anything specific you would like to know more about before deciding?"

Day 5: Social Proof

"I thought this might be helpful — here is how we helped a similar business recently: [brief case study or review]." Makes the decision feel safer.

Day 7: Honest Final Message

"Hi [first_name], I do not want to keep contacting you if the timing is not right. If you are still interested, I am here — just reply to this message. If not, no problem at all. Best of luck either way."

The tone of each message should get slightly softer as the sequence progresses. Day 0 is prompt and practical. Day 7 is gentle and pressure-free. Never let the sequence feel like escalating pressure.
